How I work

Brainstorm

We start with an online brainstorm to get clarity on the essence of your story.

Making something wonderful

We write your story in an active collaboration. That means we are in touch regularly and you provide me with input for your story. We work online, or in real life on the beautiful island of Corfu.

Interviews

I uncover your story through interviews. I process these interviews into a first draft of your story. After the first draft, we continue working on finalizing your manuscript.

end result

At the end of the process, you will have a book that only needs to be checked by a proofreader to add the finishing touches.

Last year was an eventful year for us.
I was told that I had esophageal cancer and our lives entered a huge rollercoaster.
I noticed that I felt the need to write down everything about this intense period, because I forgot a lot because of the chemo. And I wanted to support people who faced esophageal cancer after me through our book.
Irene helped us tremendously to put down on paper all our thoughts and facts of the disease process.
The interview sessions were very intense, but Irene articulated it perfectly!

Our book, "Alive and Kicking" is a book we are incredibly proud of.

Then you are very welcome to bring your story to life on Corfu. You book your own travel accommodation and come to my home on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday for interviews. During the week I work out all texts and you read along until we have the best possible concept.

When you are back home, we will bring the finishing touches to it and you will have at least 8 blogs to post and an ebook that people can download from your site to find out more about you.
